As a part of B's bridal shower, everyone gave us a recipe to help us along in our new married life. With little in the way of serious cooking experience and even less free time, this turned out to be one of the best ideas ever. We now have dozens of staple recipes from friends and family to keep things interesting in the kitchen. Some are simple go-tos and some are complex masterworks and we are excited to try them all.
So what's the deal with the blog? Well, we decided to take all the recipes we've received and post the results here, and simultaneously update everyone with what's cooking in our lives.
We make no apologies for that pun.
One thing we've noticed is that we kept terrible track of who gave us each recipe, so if you see yours on here, please drop us a line to let us know. We want to channel the appropriate chefs when making these recipes and we want to hear from you anyway!
